TY and LCA Segway
We were delighted to welcome back E-movement again this year to our TYs and LCAs this week. Well done to everyone who participated where their balance, coordination and communication skills were well tested. What a great start to the new school year for these groups.
ASD Trip to the Cinema
Our ASD students had a very enjoyable trip to the cinema in Nenagh on Thursday afternoon. They enjoyed a special viewing of Super Pets and treats for the afternoon.
Our extra-curricular activities are starting up again for the year, U16 & 19 boys Basketball have already begun their training sessions for the year ahead and Hurling Training will commence next week.
A reminder that our Parents Association meets on the 1st Monday of each month and new members are always welcome. On Mon Oct 3rd we will have our AGM and Stella O’Malley will address all parents that evening. Stella is a psychotherapist, writer and a public speaker with focus on mental health and wellbeing concerns. Stella will give a presentation on how parents can support their children through the teenage years. Please keep an eye on our social media for more details.
After School Study
After School Study is available Monday to Thursday from 4pm-6:15pm and the cost is €3 per evening.
We are encouraging all parents/guardians to download the Borrisokane Community College App. It will help keep up to date with events on the school calendar. Details on how to download the App can be viewed on our website www.borrisokanecc.ie
