Junior Camogie

Hard luck to the Junior Camogie team to who lost out to St. Marys Nenagh.  The first half was evenly contested but St.Marys pulled away in the second half and came out victorious.

Basketball.

Well done to our basketball teams that played this week.  They may not have come out with a favourable result playing against stronger teams at each level but they gave the games everything they had.

U19 Soccer

The u19 boys travelled to Annacotty on Thursday to take on Mungret CC in the Munster Senior Challenge Cup. The boys started very well and held the upper hand for the majority of the game, although a quickfire double before half time saw Mungret taking an undeserved 2-0 lead into the break. Two changes at the interval made an immediate impact, as great goals from Darren Moore and Sean Hayes saw us level the game with half an hour to play. Despite dominating the remainder of the game, disaster struck when Mungret seized their chance in the final minute to break up the pitch and put the ball in the net, sealing a 3-2 win. It was a real smash-and-grab, with our boys doing more than enough to win the match.
