 Texaco Art Competition

Well done to 5th Year student Chloe Egan who won a special merit award in this years Texaco Art Competition with her portrait Procrastinating. Congratulations Chloe.

1st Year Parents Information Evening

An information evening for our 1st years took place on Tues 14th. If you were unable to join us for that meeting all information is available on the News section on our website www.borrisokanecc.ie

Transition Year Activities.

Our TYs had an eventful week.  On Monday they were involved in a virtual coding Workshop with Microsoft, where they learned about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and designed their own game.  On Tuesday they were involved in an online poetry workshop with Inspireland where they were involved in a Poetry Slam. On Wednesday TY students learned biking skills and road safety thanks to Greg and Ian and Tipperary Sports Partnership.

Borrisokane Community College Transition Year students enjoyed the Bike Workshop this week.  Thanks to Greg and Ian from Lower Ormond Cycling Club for delivering the workshops and Dicks Bike Hire Portumna for supplying the bicycles.

School App

Chess Club

The chess club recommenced in Borrisokane Community College last week. Students were delighted to have the opportunity to develop their skills and compete with each other.
