Two teachers, Ms Deirdre Kyne and Ms Eimear Mc Grath are volunteering in Sri Lanka this summer as part of a USIT Volunteer Program. They will be involved with the taking care of under privileged children, sports coaching, teaching monks and women empowerment programmes. They have held a number of fundraising events in the school to cover some costs and bring educational equipment and supplies for the children. This week they held a raffle for a signed Tipperary jersey.
