1st years played Portlaoise College in their first game on Friday 20th. They put in a great performance demonstrating great teamwork and skills. They won 16 – 0.
2nd years played Portlaoise College in their first game also on Friday 20th January. After a shaky start to the game the boys were lagging a little behind. They worked really hard and put in a great team effort in the last quarter of the game. They came back but unfortunately lost by a few baskets being beaten 20 – 17. Both teams will play their next game Tuesday the 31st of January against Thurles.
