Fire Safety
Transition Years took part in Fire Marshall training at the school on May 6th and 7th, provided by the Fire and Rescue Service. Students learned valuable information about fire safety and learned how to use fire blankets and extinguishers. On completion, all students received Fire Marshall certificates. Thank you to members of Borrisokane Fire Station TN15 for facilitating a very enjoyable and informative course.
Athletics
Well done to our students who participated in the East Munster Athletics competition on May 8th. It was a successful day, with Morgan Deasy winning first place in shot and second in discus, Jack Tierney placing second in hammer and discus and Jack Stapleton placing 5th in discus and 6th in javelin.
Soar Workshop
Our 5th year students took part in an enjoyable and worthwhile Soar Workshop on Wednesday May 8th.
Active School Trip
Our Transition Years Active School class enjoyed a hike up Moylussa on Friday May 9th, accompanied by Mr. O’ Connell and Ms. Kenny.
