Borrisokane Community College School Notes
First Year Trip to Castlecomer Discovery Park
Our First Year students travelled to Castlecomer Discovery Park on Monday last. Students participated in Archery, Zip Lining, Team Challenges and Octagon High Ropes during the day and a great day was had by all.
First Years also had an afternoon of sports on Wednesday. Students had a great time participating in the various events and a great way to relax and take time out from study as we head towards the end of the term. Thank you to the PE teachers for organising the Sports Afternoon.
On Wednesday we celebrated Culture Day. Our students shared insights into their heritage and culture from all across the globe. It was great to learn more about and gain an appreciation of different cultures.
We would like to thank all the employers who throughout the year provide work experience opportunities for our students. Thank you for your continued support.
The link to purchase the PE uniform is now live on the website www.xgear.ie Uniform and be viewed and purchased online. Please place orders before June 30th. The regular school uniform is available from Slatterys Pearse Street, Nenagh.
We held our graduation service for our class of 2022 on Thursday evening. Well done to everyone who participated to make our ceremony so meaningful and special.
