Facilities at Borrisokane Community College are modern and we are continuously updating facilities in various areas as the changes in curriculum require.
In addition to the usual general classrooms we also have the following specialists rooms and facilities.
The school has two fully equipped science laboratories along with two other science rooms with demonstration facilities. At both Junior and Senior levels the students are given the opportunity to carry out practicals themselves.

The art room has excellent facilities for Junior and Leaving Certificate Art with facilities for crafts such as Enamelling, Batik and Printmaking.

A fully equipped Engineering workshops with equipment for teaching Pneumatics, Electronics, CAD/CAM, Plastic forming, brazing and welding.

The college has a fully equipped room for Junior Cycle Woodwork equipped with tools for carving and fretwork. For Senior Cycle the Construction Studies room has a Wet Trades area. Facilities also available for Woodturning.

The computer room is equipped with twenty-three modern computers with multi-media capabilities-CD Rom. Soundblaster, etc., a new fax-modem facility together with upgraded Printing facilities. Top of the range software is available in Word Processing, Database, Spreadsheet, Desk Top Publishing areas. We also have access to the Internet from all the machines. The computer room is continuously been updated.

The Home Economics area is equipped with a full range of domestic appliances including a computerised sewing machine. We also are in a position to offer students experience of computers in this area using the National Dairy Council's computer programme ‘Health in the Balance'. A wide range of videos are also available on topics in the areas of Nutrition, Childcare, Craft and Sociology.

The Business area is equipped with a full range of modern business equipment for the teaching of Business Studies to Junior Cert. and Business to Leaving Certificate.

The career guidance office has a comprehensive library of careers information. It also has a modern computer and a range of Vocational Interest and Aptitude Tests enabling us to offer a comprehensive Careers and Counselling service.

Students in the school form a production team and employ D.J.s to operate the radio station at lunchtime.

Excellent sports facilities are available with a full range of Physical Education equipment. Changing facilities are also available for ladies and gents. The Sports Complex is used by students at lunch time.

Dining Hall: Built by the Parent's Association to sit over four hundred students as all students remain on the college grounds at lunchtime. A modern fully equipped kitchen is staffed from 8 am to provide hot or cold food. A wide variety of nutritious food is available, with special emphasis on Healthy Food Choices as recommend in our Healthy Eating Policy. The dining hall allows students to sit and talk in a relaxed atmosphere.

Oratory: The college oratory is a wonderful addition to our college. It is very comfortable well-heated and conducive to prayer, meditation and reflection. The oratory is used by classes for prayer services and meditation and is open for students and staff at lunchtime for private prayer and short visits.

Library: Has facilities to allow students to borrow books and research projects.
